ARISE students visit NML

ARISE students visited the NML on March 2, 2020. The purpose of the tour is to show the broader context and motivation of our research and provide an opportunity for the ARISE students to ask questions to NML members about our research but also personal motivation.

Prof. Di Fulvio ranked as excellent by NPRE 451 students

Prof Di Fulvio in the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students for Fall 2019. This list is based on ICES forms completed by students during the Fall semester of 2019. To be included on the list, instructors needed to be rated among the top 30% across campus in their respective Elective-MixedRequired course group. Congratulations, Prof. Di Fulvio!

EBSS 2019

Ming attended the 2019 Exotic Beam Summer School (EBSS) held at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, from June 23 to June 29. The school aims to introduce students and young researchers to the various facets of the science of exotic nuclei including nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics, fundamental interactions, and the application of nuclear science and technology.

WYSE Camp

Daniel helps organize the World Youth in Science and Engineering camp, where high school students will be working on cloud chamber and photodetector experiment in NPRE from June 23 to June 29.

New student joins NML!

New student Noah Rebei joins the NML group through the High School Summer Research Program! He will be working on nuclear material hold-up from Jun 17 to July 19. Welcome, Noah!
